I just became aware of this: http://www.stones-edges.com/
The have two different dungeon packs and a sci-fi pack (called "Orbital") and they look like they could be rather useful. They are usually $10 each but are currently on offer for $5 each or $10 for all three. You can pay with Paypal and after paying you just download them, print them out and assemble them. |

Hello, just thought I would add my 2p to this!
I spotted the stone edges terrain as well and used it in combination with WorldWorksGame terrain to make my own board for Space Hulk, the pictures can be seen here. Its not quite finished but not too far away.

Actually... I (personally) really like them! I have seen them used before, but don't remember if they occured to me for this project. (as I haven't really liked them in other avenues... such as 40k)
Simple, cheap, and versatile... I think it meets the (our) need! |

That is so cool.
To be honest I've never paid much attention when people have talked about paper terrain because I've tended to think about about the kind of stuff we used to cut out from the back of cereal packet 30 years ago and a few crappy examples that I've seen cut out of White Dwarf.
It seems that the widespread use of home computers and injet printers has made it so that there is some really nice stuff available for next to nothing.
I really must get with the 21st centuary. |
